When should you call a plumber? That is a question that hundreds of homeowners ask themselves every year. They attempt to do home maintenance themselves to save money, but don’t quite know how to complete the task at hand. There are just sometimes that it makes more sense to call in a plumber to take care of the task at hand. With that being said, here are some reasons that you might want to call in plumbers to take care of the job for you.

Clogged Sink

If you have tried using Drano, or other chemicals to unstop your sink and they just don’t seem to be working, it’s time to call in a professional. There could be problems located deep in the pipe that only Plumbers can get too. It’s best to call and let them discover what the problem is for you.

Flooding

Unlike a clogged drain, flooding is something that must be taken care of right away; If you want to avoid structural damage to your home and avoid walking around in water all of the time. It could be something as simple as a clogged drain or a broken pipe. The point is if you don’t know what you’re doing, then you need to get help.

No Hot Water

This could be something as simple as a blown fuse or as serious as having to replace the entire hot water heater. If you can’t figure out the cause, then call a plumber. No hot water is no fun, especially in the dead of winter.

Overflowing Toilet
